 RESTAURANT - GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS DUBAI WORLD CUP 2012

 
CANCELLATION POLICY
  1. No refund or cancellations accepted for Dubai World Cup tickets.
  2. The Organisers reserve the right to postpone the 2012 Dubai World Cup and in the event of postponement the booking will be transferred to the new date.
 
DISTRIBUTION POLICY
NO BADGE COLLECTION FACILITY ON SATURDAY 31st MARCH 2012 (DUBAI WORLD CUP DAY)
  1. Badges will be available for collection from 1st – 30th March 2012 only, and badges must be collected and signed for from the Ticket Sales Office at Meydan Racecourse.
  2. The Organiser will not be responsible for delivery to local hotels and reserves the right, if a hotel delivery address is given, not to action the booking.
 
DRESS CODE
The dress code of those entering the hospitality areas will be lounge suit or national dress for men. Modest dress is recommended for women. Ladies are encouraged to wear hats. Jeans, t-shirts, trainers and shorts are strictly prohibited in the Parade Ring. The dress code for the public admission area is casual attire.
 
CHILDREN’S POLICY
Young children in pushchairs or strollers will not be permitted entry into Meydan Grandstand, hospitality facilities at the Meydan Racecourse and Apron Views, excluding The Meydan Hotel. All children will require a badge to enter any hospitality area. There are no special pricing packages for children.
 
ADMISSION
All guests must wear their badges in order to gain entry to the Meydan Grandstand and Hospitality area.
 
TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. In these terms and conditions, the expression “Patron” means person, company or body making the application and includes all employees or agents of such. The “Organiser” means Dubai Racing Club.
  2. Payment in full must accompany the booking application not less than one calendar month before the Event. Badges and event documentation will not be issued until the full payment due has been received.
  3. Payments must be paid in UAE Dirhams by UAE Company Cheque or Banker’s Draft made payable to “Dubai Racing Club” or by credit card (MasterCard or Visa only).
  4. A receipted invoice will be issued on receipt of payment unless an electronic receipt is generated at the time of booking.
  5. There will be no re-issue of badges lost or stolen after collection or delivery.
  6. The Organiser will not admit the bearer of badges purchased from an unauthorised source and reserves the right to refuse admission to the racecourse and hospitality areas.
  7. No food or drink may be brought into the hospitality enclosures.
  8. The Organiser shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any buildings, structures, fixtures and fittings therein or any other property situated, howsoever caused, arising out of or connected with the activities of the Patron, its employees, agents, staff, guests or contractors and the Patron shall indemnify and hold Organiser harmless against any such loss or damage.
  9. The Organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss to any property of the Patron, its employees, agents, staff, guests and contractors howsoever such loss or damage is caused and whether or not due to the negligence of any servant, agent, staff, guest or contractor of the Organiser.
  10. The Patron is wholly responsible for the conduct of its guests, employees, agents, staff, and its contractors and accepts that the Organiser may require any of the aforementioned whose conduct is likely or is considered likely to cause damage to any building, its fixtures or contents, or any other property within the relevant areas or the racecourse to leave or to be removed from the relevant area and the racecourse.
  11. The Patron shall be liable to the Organiser for any charges in respect of breakages, damage and cleaning costs which are considered by the Organiser to be excessive.
  12. The Patron acknowledges hiring of any hospitality facility is for entertaining purposes only. Company branding and marketing is not permitted except where stipulated and included in the package. Signage will be limited to the standard signage provided by the Organiser. This is the only additional external signage and branding permitted by the Organiser. Banners, flags and decorated entrance arches will not be permitted and any branded items on display that have not been approved in advance by the Organiser will be removed.
  13. No product sampling or any other publicity or promotional activity is permitted unless written permission is obtained in advance from the Organiser.
  14. The Organiser will appoint a caterer for all private entertaining facilities and public hospitality areas and the Patron agrees to the menus provided by the caterer direct to the Patron.
  15. Nothing herein gives the patron any right, title or interest in any mark logo or other intellectual property of the Organiser and gives no right to the patron to use the same at any time.
  16. The Patron acknowledges that by making an application for tickets it is bound by each and every provision of these terms and conditions.
  17. The Organiser reserves the right to alter, add to, or amend any of these Conditions and the decision of the Organiser shall be in that respect final.
  18. The booking form must be signed by the Patron or in the case of payment by credit card, the cardholder.
  19. All Patrons are permitted to use their facility only on the race day for which they have paid.
