Jan - Mar 2010 RACE NIGHT RESTAURANT BOOKINGS TERMS & CONDITIONS

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Cancellation before 2 weeks prior to the race date - 100% refund.
2. Cancellation within 2 weeks prior to the race date – no refund.
3. DRC reserve the right to postpone or cancel the Jan – Mar 2010 race nights and in the event of postponement or cancellation, there will be a 100% refund.

DISTRIBUTION POLICY

1. Access cards will be available for collection from the ticket sales and distribution office located at the Meydan racecourse once full payment is made.
2. Access cards must be collected and signed for from the ticket sales office at Meydan racecourse.
3. Collection of access cards will be possible on the race date until 9pm.
4. Distribution of access cards by courier will be 10 days or thereabouts prior to the race date on request. Access cards will be couriered both locally and internationally at a cost.
5. There will be no re-issue of access cards lost or stolen after collection or delivery.

DRESS CODE

1. Public Areas – Casual Dress
2. Hospitality Areas – Smart attire applies. Ladies are encouraged to wear hats and race wear.

CHILDREN’S POLICY AND ACCESS

1. Corporate Suites – children between 4 – 12 years of age are allowed entry at full adult price. Entry for children below the age of 4 is not allowed.
2. Bars – Entry for persons below the age of 21 is not allowed.
3. Dining Areas – 50% off for children between 4 – 12 years of age and entry for children below the age of 4 not allowed.
4. Fine Dining Areas – children between 4 – 12 years of age are allowed entry at full adult price. Entry for children below the age of 4 is not allowed.
5. Young children in pushchairs or strollers are not permitted entry to the Meydan Grandstand and Hospitalty facilities excluding Meydan Hotel.
6. All children will require an access card to enter any private or corporate suite.

DISABLED PERSONS

1. May use designated access and suitable areas (special toilets, lifts and seating areas).

 
PARTICULAR TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Payment must be paid in UAE Dirhams by UAE company cheque or banker’s draft to be made payable to “Dubai Racing Club” or by credit card (American Express, Mastercard or Visa only).
2. A receipted invoice will be issued on receipt of payment.
3. DRC accepts no obligation to admit the bearer of an access card purchased from an unauthorized source and reserves the right to refuse admission to the racecourse and other areas.
4. No food or drink may be brought into hospitality areas at all times.
5. DRC shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any buildings, structures, fixtures and fittings or any other property situated therein, howsoever caused, arising out of or connected with the activities of the Patron and the Patron shall indemnify and hold the DRC harmless against any such loss or damage.
6. DRC shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss to any property of the Patron, its employees, agents, staff or guests howsoever such loss or damage is caused and whether or not due to the negligence of DRC.
7. The Patron is responsible for personal conduct and accepts that DRC may require the Patron whose conduct is likely or is considered likely to cause damage to any building, its fixtures or contents, or any other property within the relevant area or the racecourse to leave or to be removed from the relevant area or the racecourse.
8. The Patron shall be liable to DRC for any charges in respect of breakages, damage and cleaning costs which are considered by the DRC to be excessive.
9. The Patron acknowledges that the hiring of any hospitality facility is for entertaining purposes only. Company branding and marketing is not permitted except where stipulated and included in the package. Signage will be limited to the standard signage provided by the DRC. Banners, flags and decorated entrance arches will not be permitted and any branded items on display that have not been approved by DRC in advance will be removed.
10. The Patron must obtain written approval of DRC to conduct any alterations or additions to the facility. All such approved alterations or additions being outside the standard package paid will be at the cost of the Patron.
11. DRC accepts no responsibility for security goods supplied by the Patron within the facilities.
12. No product sampling or any other publicity or promotional activity is permitted unless written permission is obtained in advance from DRC.
13. DRC will appoint a caterer for all private entertaining facilities and hospitality areas and the Patron agrees to select food and beverage requirements from the menus provided by the caterer and acknowledges that any additional costs will be charged by the caterer directly to the Patron.
14. Nothing herein gives the Patron any right, title or interest in any mark logo or other intellectual property of the Organiser and gives no right to the Patron to use the same at any time.
15. The Patron acknowledges that by making an application for tickets it is bound by each and every provision of these terms and conditions.
16. DRC reserves the right to alter, add to, or amend any of these Conditions and the decision of DRC in that respect shall be final.
17. All Patrons are permitted to use their facility only on the race day(s) for which they have paid.
