Racenight Restaurant and General Admission Terms & Conditions

 

November 10, 2011 - March 17, 2012 RACENIGHT RESTAURANT BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
 
Definitions
The Organiser – Dubai Racing Club, which includes all of its employees, staff, agents and contractors.
Patron – Company or individual listed in the booking form which expression includes all of its employees, staff and contractors.
 
Agreement
1.       This Agreement between The Organiser and Patron is effective upon receiving 100% payment once the booking has been confirmed.
2.       Failure to pay for the restaurant package as above entitles, The Organiser has the rights to cancel the booking.
3.       Booking confirmation is subject to the availability of the requested restaurant package.
4.       By signing the booking form, the Patron agrees to and will abide by all these terms and conditions.
 
Cancellation Policy
1.       Cancellation 12 weeks prior to the race date - 100% refund.
2.       Cancellation 12 weeks within race date – no refund.
3.       The Organiser reserve the right to postpone or cancel any of races between November 2011 – March 2012 and in the event of postponement or cancellation, there will be the opportunity to transfer your booking to another race night at Meydan Racecourse (excluding Dubai World Cup).
 
Distribution Policy
1.       Badges will be available for collection from the Ticket Sales Office located prior to the entrances and in between Gates B & C of the Meydan Grandstand.
2.       Badges must be collected and signed for from the Ticket Sales Office, which is open Sunday – Thursday from 8:00am – 8:00pm and is open till 9:00pm on race nights.
3.       Collection of badges will be possible on the race date until 9:00pm.
4.       Distribution of badges by courier will be 10 days or thereabouts prior to the race date on request. Badges can be couriered both locally and internationally at a cost and this service must be selected at the time the booking is made.
5.       There will be no re-issue of badges lost or stolen after collection or delivery.
 
DRESS CODE
The dress code for the free admission area is casual attire. Smart attire is required of those entering the Meydan Grandstand hospitality area. Women are encouraged to wear hats and racewear, though it is optional. T-shirts, trainers and shorts are strictly prohibited in the Grandstand.
*Please note: Jeans, t-shirts, trainers and shorts are strictly prohibited in the Parade Ring.
 
CHILDREN’S POLICY AND ACCESS
Children under the age of 4 years old and children in push chairs or stroller are allowed access to the free admission area but are restricted from all hospitality areas throughout the Meydan Grandstand. Please note all children will require a badge to enter all hospitality areas. Guests entering the Parade Ring Lounge must be 21 years of age and above. There is no special pricing for children, with the exception of the Buffet Restaurant – Silks where children’s tickets (4-12 years) are priced at 50% of the adult price.
 
DISABLED PERSONS
A convenient access to the Meydan Grandstand is available from the Ground or Mezzanine Levels. Lifts are available on all floors to take guests to their desired area. When purchasing badges, please specify your interest in accessible seating. Parking spaces are available for our guests with disabilities on the Ground Floor. Vehicles legally using disabled plates or window cards are permitted to park in these designated spaces. Any unauthorized vehicle found parking in a disabled space will be removed.
 
TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. In these terms and conditions, the expression “Patron” means person, company or body making the application and includes all employees or agents of such. “The Organiser” means Dubai Racing Club.
  2. Payments must be paid in UAE Dirhams by UAE company cheque or banker’s draft to be made payable to “Dubai Racing Club” or by credit card (Mastercard or Visa only).
  3. A receipted invoice will be issued on receipt of payment.
  4. The Organiser accepts no obligation to admit the bearer of badge purchased from an unauthorized source and reserves the right to refuse admission to the racecourse and hospitality areas.
  5. No food or drink may be brought into the hospitality areas other than that supplied by The Organiser.
  6. The Organiser shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any buildings, structures, fixtures and fittings or any other property situated therein, howsoever caused, arising out of or connected with the activities of the Patron and the Patron shall indemnify and hold the Organiser harmless against any such loss or damage.
  7. The Organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss to any property of the Patron, its employees, agents, staff or guests howsoever such loss or damage is caused and whether or not due to the negligence of the Organiser.
  8. The Patron is responsible for its conduct and accepts that the Organiser may require the Patron whose conduct is likely or is considered likely to cause damage to any building, its fixtures or contents, or any other property within the relevant area or the racecourse to leave or to be removed from the relevant area or the racecourse.
  9. The Patron shall be liable to the Organiser for any charges in respect of breakages, damage and cleaning costs which are considered by the Organiser to be excessive.
  10. The Patron acknowledges the hiring of any hospitality facility is for entertaining purposes only. Company branding and marketing is not permitted except where stipulated and included in the package. Signage will be limited to the standard signage provided by the Organiser. Banners, flags and decorated entrance arches will not be permitted and any branded items on display that have not been approved by the Organiser in advance will be removed.
  11. The Patrons must obtain written approval of the Organiser to conduct any alterations or additions to the facility. All such approved alterations or additions being outside the standard package paid will be at the cost of the Patron.
  12. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for security goods supplied by the Patrons in the facilities.
  13. No product sampling or any other publicity or promotional activity is permitted unless written permission is obtained in advance from the Organiser.
  14. The Organiser will appoint a caterer for all private entertaining facilities and hospitality areas and the Patron agrees to select it’s food and beverage requirements from the menus provided by the caterer and acknowledges that any additional costs will be charged by the caterer direct to the Patron.
  15. Nothing herein gives the patron any right, title or interest in any mark logo or other intellectual property of the Organiser and gives no right to the patron to use the same at any time.
  16. The Patron acknowledges that by making an application for badges it is bound by each and every provision of these terms and conditions.
  17. The Organiser reserves the right to alter, add to, or amend any of these Conditions and the decision of the Organiser in that respect shall be final.
  18. All Patrons are permitted to use their facility only on race day or race days for which they have paid.
  19. In the unlikely event that there is a maintenance issue in your designated area, an appropriate alternative will be provided and communicated to you prior to your event.
